Sidon Holdings was founded by Glenn and Jean, a husband and wife team who moved from Katy Texas to Austin Texas in 2016. The name Sidon refers to a city and region in the Mediterranean (modern day Lebanon) that is referred to multiple times in the Holy Bible. This name was chosen due to the passages in the old testament I Kings 17: 8-24. The prophet Elijiah was sent by God to a widow residing in a town in the region of Sidon so she could provide for him. In being obedient, the widow was greatly blessed by God and provided for.
